Bon SecoursClergy well-being is more than self-care! It is an on-going path of cultivating new ways of being as well as the practices to sustain one’s well-being. It’s a path both personal and collegial. It’s essential for the vitality of the church.

In this retreat day for clergy, middle judicatory, and other church leaders, we will provide some practical frameworks for engaging this path of well-being, including an opportunity to learn about clergy communities of practice and the work of the Pastoral Excellence Network.

The Pastoral Excellence Network at Christian Theological Seminary is an initiative funded by the Lilly Endowment dedicated to strengthening and sustaining excellent pastoral leaders for a lifetime of creative and effective service to the church.

Leaders: Chris Braudaway-Bauman and Larry Peers serve as Director and Director of Learning of the Pastoral Excellence Network. Ann Michel is the Associate Director of the Lewis Center for Church Leadership at Wesley Seminary.

Cost: $15 for the day or $100 (inclusive), if you’d like to stay overnight on Monday, January 27.
